## About the Treatment

Medically supervised weight loss is a program led by endocrinologist Dr. Andreia Buzza for patients who want to lose weight safely and sustainably. Before giving any guidance, the doctor investigates the causes of weight gain, such as thyroid changes, insulin resistance, polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (SOMP), medication use and lifestyle habits.
