## About the Treatment

Laser treatment for hemorrhoids, also called laser hemorrhoidoplasty, is a minimally invasive technique in which laser energy is applied inside the hemorrhoidal tissue, reducing blood flow and causing the tissue to shrink over the following weeks. It is indicated for grade II and III internal hemorrhoids that do not respond to clinical treatment, with no cuts or stitches in the anal area. The procedure is performed at the Femi Saúde office, with local anesthesia and light sedation when needed, allowing a return to activities within a few days. The coloproctology team evaluates each case individually to confirm the indication, explain realistic expectations and monitor recovery.
