## About the Treatment

Full-body mole mapping combines whole-body photographs with dermoscopic images of each lesion of interest, creating a detailed record that serves as a reference for future evaluations. Comparing the images over time makes it possible to spot new moles or subtle changes in size, color and shape that would go unnoticed in a single exam. It is especially recommended for people with many moles, atypical moles, a personal or family history of melanoma, and very fair skin.
