## About the Treatment

Post-operative rehabilitation supports the patient from the first days after gynaecological, plastic and abdominal surgery, so that recovery is more comfortable and the result of the operation is preserved. At Clínica Femi Saúde, physiotherapist Dra. Gisara Mattos Leão builds an individual plan together with the surgical team, respecting each stage of healing. Sessions may include manual lymphatic drainage, LED phototherapy to support healing and ease pain, scar care, prevention of oedema and fibrosis, mobility exercises and guidance on posture, rest and a gradual return to daily activities. Each technique is chosen according to medical clearance and the patient's progress, and the plan is reviewed at every visit, with time to answer questions and adjust the pace.
