## About the Treatment

Micro-focused ultrasound concentrates energy at precise points in the deep layers of the skin and in the SMAS — the same layer treated in surgical facelifts — heating the tissue and causing immediate contraction and collagen production over the following months. It is indicated for mild to moderate sagging of the face, neck, décolletage and double chin, with a lifting effect and contour definition, and also for areas of the body such as the arms, abdomen and inner thighs. The session is performed in the office, with topical anesthetic, and the patient returns to activities the same day. Part of the result is visible right away, and improvement continues for two to three months, lasting about a year. One session is usually enough; the plan is defined after an assessment of the degree of sagging.
