About the Treatment

Prenatal care is the medical follow-up of mother and baby from the start of pregnancy until birth. At Femi Saúde it ideally begins during pre-conception planning and continues with monthly visits early on, visits every two weeks from the seventh month and weekly visits in the final weeks. Each stage includes the laboratory tests and ultrasounds recommended for the gestational age, the vaccines indicated during pregnancy and guidance on diet, weight gain and physical activity. The team also welcomes the questions and emotions of each phase and builds, together with the mother, a birth plan aligned with her preferences and with scientific evidence, paying close attention to any condition that calls for additional care.
