About the Treatment
Botulinum toxin, known by the brand name Botox, is applied at specific points in the facial muscles to reduce the contraction that forms expression lines — the lines on the forehead, between the eyebrows (glabella) and around the eyes (crow's feet). The goal is a more rested, natural expression, without losing movement, when the doses and injection points are well planned. The application is quick, done with very fine needles, with minimal discomfort and no need to take time off from activities. The effect begins to appear within a few days, is complete in about two weeks, and lasts on average four to six months.
