Dr. Melissa Amoroso, a gynecologist, is dedicated to caring for women at every stage of life, from their first period through menopause, performing routine exams such as the cervical Pap smear and championing preventive medicine. She offers guidance on choosing and inserting contraceptive methods, such as IUDs and Implanon, and also performs tubal ligation. A specialist in minimally invasive procedures, Dr. Melissa is experienced in laparoscopic surgery, with particular attention to conditions such as endometriosis, and in hysteroscopy, an effective technique for diagnosing and treating abnormal uterine bleeding and other conditions. She also performs minimally invasive gynecological surgeries, such as hysterectomies and the removal of ovarian cysts or fibroids.
