Dr. Melissa Amoroso is a gynecologist and Technical Director of Clínica Femi Saúde. She is dedicated to caring for women at every stage of life, from first menstruation to menopause, with a focus on preventive medicine: routine check-ups, Pap smears and personalized guidance. In contraception, she offers counseling to help each patient choose the most suitable method and performs IUD insertion (hormonal and copper) and Implanon® insertion, as well as tubal ligation. She specializes in minimally invasive gynecological surgery, with a fellowship in laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. She performs diagnostic and surgical hysteroscopy — to investigate and treat abnormal uterine bleeding, polyps and fibroids — and laparoscopic surgeries, such as hysterectomy and removal of ovarian cysts and fibroids, with special attention to endometriosis.
