About the Treatment
Collagen biostimulators are injectable substances — such as poly-L-lactic acid and calcium hydroxyapatite — that stimulate the skin itself to produce new collagen over the following months. Unlike filler, the effect is not immediate: firmness, thickness and skin quality improve gradually, with a natural result, indicated for mild to moderate sagging of the face, neck, décolletage, arms, abdomen and buttocks, and as prevention from around age 30. The application is performed in the office, with topical anesthetic or anesthetic in the product, in one to three sessions about a month apart, and the effect lasts on average 18 to 24 months.
