About the Treatment
The fractional CO2 laser creates microscopic treatment columns in the skin, preserving the surrounding tissue, which stimulates renewal and collagen production. It is one of the most complete treatments for facial rejuvenation: it improves fine lines, texture, pores, spots, acne scars and mild sagging, and can also be used on scars and stretch marks on the body. At Femi Saúde, the equipment used is the MTZ 40, which allows the depth and intensity to be adjusted according to the goal — from more superficial sessions, with just a few days of recovery, to more intensive treatments. The session is performed with topical anesthetic; redness and peeling occur in the following days, and sun protection is essential. In general, one to three sessions are needed, one to two months apart; the protocol is defined after a skin assessment.
